Fellow Lumberjocks…
I have not been very active lately on Lumberjocks because I have been busy preparing for a national certification test. This has been very time consuming.
Also, my parents are getting along well into old age and require a lot of attention. My father has just been diagnosed in the final stages of Parkinsons. This has presented some new challenges since my mother just had her hip replaced.
I also still take care of Ms D and am helping her prepare for a two week trip to Texas.
In addition to this I have had to make dead lines on some commission I had promised for both woodworking and a stained glass commission. ( I will post a picture of this work in progress, its a Greene and Greene bench and two “oops” side tables)
I miss being active. That’s life I guess, if you want to eat you have to work. Funny how that works.
I still try to write at least two chapters a week for my blog.
I have noticed how busy this web sight has become. That is a good thing. I simply can’t keep up right now. Rest assured I read as many entries as I can. I wish I could comment more.
Those of you who have mentioned me in your posts, a big thank you for that. It makes my day. I wish I had the time to respond and to be part of OBI and Karson’s table challenge.
How fun that would be.
I simply don’thave the time right now. Maybe the next one.
Rest assured I will keep track of the progress.
Warm regards to all the Lumberjocks

Good to hear from you. Don’t worry by the time they have it figured out you will be all caught up. (and probably retired) Good to hear you are certifiable. Take care!

Good to hear from you Dusty. And your forgiven before hand if you are not able to participate in the LJ/PW challenge. But you could probably make the table in 3 hours and probably just use scraps.

Dusty… Family First (and that include Ms D.) business second… Lumberjocks third. Except for Martin. Lumberjocks.com IS HIS business and WE are his family.
It is good to see that you are at least working in the shop and not spending all your time tearing up Ms D.’s house

thanks for keeping us up to date and I’m glad to see that you are taking at least a few minutes of your day to rejuvenate your batteries. Sounds like you have a very very busy schedule!
