I am a physician (call me Alex) who has gotten into this expensive hobby because of my wife. Building strechers and frames for her art work has started my passion for woodworking. I can really blame her for the hundreds of dollars I have spent at Rockler, Woodcraft, WoodnShop and other stores because of her. Her art work is on the internet at www.jenniferklemp.com. Without her I would never have found the joy of woodworking. I want to thank a few people who have really helped with direct or indirect encouragement: St. Louis Woodworker's Guild, St. Louis Wood Turners, The WoodWhisperer's podcasts, Red Headed Merganser, and Ken Schmidt.
