no previous part Part 1 of Really good deals on tools... series no next part

I think it is important enough to enough of us that I wanted to share. I would suggest that you guys mention this to them when you call so we can get him on here as an advertiser and have his support for the site… Anyhow, Richard who is my buddy has the Utah Woodturners Association there at the store last night and he announced to them that he had swung a deal with Delta to buy I think it is the LS200 model of the Midi Lathe with them for a couple of school districts in Utah. He got an entire container full. He has about 60 left after the wood turners got 40 of them left over after selling the schools 500. He can sell the lath for $129 each. Now if you look for it on Amazon it is like $270. More than that till the end of the month there is a rebate for 6 chizels from them that normally cost $130 by themselves. They are free with a mail in rebate. Needless to say… I have one myself. Call them and tell him Drew sent you from Lumberjocks and lets get them to participate with us.

His number is 801-225-3826

Sure Max… they are coming in in about 10 days he says… they had about 12 in stock that they normally stocked but the woodturners club got them all so do not count on getting one before then by driving down… I would call and find out for sure… He even has a big list of reservations you can get on so you will get a call when they get in.

he has great prices on stuff in general… but I would not have put hey my buddy has great prices in general on stuff… cause that is what shopping around is for right? Sometimes though… when a price is low enough… I am inspired and will buy something out of the order that I had originally planned. I though someday getting a little lathe would be fun… when I can get the tools and the lathe for $129 it moves ahead in the urgency line…
