Part 1: Off With Your Head!
Commenting on one of Gizzard’s first posts, I wrote of my practice of recording my mistakes as Learning Opportunities. In a later conversation with Martin, I got to thinking that this might be helpful material for other LumberJocks. So with this blog, I am commencing a series on LO’s with the intention of about one per month in the series. Part 2: If In Doubt, Follow the Instructions

Yesterday, I took my new TS Aligner Jr. and DowelMax over to a friends home. (I purchased both of these tools during my recent visit to Canada.) I was meeting with him and another Mate for a BBQ lunch and a chat about our mutual interest in woodworking. All three of us served on the executive committee of our woodworking club, so we have formed a close bond. I showed them the results of having calibrated my table saw with the TS Aligner by taking a sample of a perfectly fitted Dowe...
