I am thrilled to let you all in on some good news from my family.
Isaac Thomas, 7.5 lbs, was born last night to my daughter, her third son, brother to Ethan Matthew, and Samuel Jacob.
This keeps intact five generations of male babies only to my son-in-law’s family.

Congratulations! Don’t you just love babies feet?
Got to be pretty unlikely odds, 5 generations of only boys.
It seems that we’re trending the other way in my extended family lately. Lots of girls… My wife noted (following her birth) there have been only granddaughters born to her Paternal grandparents where it was only boys prior for 2 generations (her older brothers and uncles). Though the big picture seems to be pretty close to 50/50

I was just gonna say the same thing Scott. Babies feet. And as Don put it… where will they take him? Hopefully to church on Sunday, and to the shop the rest of the week.

Congratulations Don!
I wonder if he’ll be a “lover of small wooden boxes” like his grand dad.

Nice feet. Next time she can work on an entire baby. She’s got the feet thing down pat.

Good one, Tom.
But she didn’t do too badly on the whole baby either. Here’s her first two. I don’t know why, but I think of them as little angles. LOL

Oh my…you’re right, she’s got the process down pat! But these kids don’t have any feet…they are cut off at the knees. You set the feet precedent…oh, I can’t even keep a straight face, or keep that line of torment going…they are beautiful children, Don. Congrats!

Hey, Deb, I’ve got you beat; a daughter and two beautiful grandchildren in Vancouver. Now that takes some beating for degrees of separation!
