Just a garage shop with too many pieces of equipment. But after working all day in front of a computer and sitting in meetings even this small space feels wonderful. Made furniture commerically from 14 to 25 then went into Law enforcement then into computers. I now still restore “antique” furniture but, woodturning is my real passion. Active member of the AAW and Central Florida Woodturners, I get to demo at WoodCraft and the FL state Fair and a few other places. It’s fun, quiet and my artist side gets fed. My wife finally got just a “plain” bowl that she has been wanting. It was on display at the Orlando Museum of Art this past fall and two folks wanted to buy it. I’m not that stupid!

Looks cozy from what I can see of it.

Hi Bill,
You have given us just enough to whet our insatiable appetites for visual tours of other woodworking shops. What I can see looks interesting. As a non-turner you will see me lament the fact that I don’t have a lathe occasionally when I see a turning post.
Thanks for this post.

Welcome, I live down in Lakeland. I haven’t got room for anymore stationary machines. Perhaps a benchtop midi? Hmmmm… Do you give lessons?
Always,
