There's really not much to tell about me. I'd gotten started like many others, by the influence of my grandfather in his shop. He'd owned a cabinet shop for some time and eventually built a garage with a shop above.
Since he'd past on I'd made sure to keep many of the tools in the family instead of selling them off to the highest bidder, so I've got some nice older tools and boxes upon boxes of nails.
At any rate, my shop is just beginning, which I'll post pictures of soon. It's a frightening sight which will scare any neat freak to death. I assure you however that it will be cleaned. Sooner or later.
Since we'd just moved into a new home there's alot to do, not only in the shop but the home as a whole.
I'll be posting about things I do around the house which at least pertain to some amount of wood working. Though I'm sure I'll pepper in the odd blog bit about patching plaster or other work around the home.
Anyway.. Nice to be a part of the group.. I'd enjoyed the RSS feeds for some time and figured it's a nice time to start rambling about wood.
