Some people have been giving me small logs for a while now. Every time someone calls and asks if I want some I say “sure.” I have a client who works for a company that cuts down trees around power lines and he brings me some almost every week. Due to some other circumstances, I won’t be getting an more so I thought I would go up to the shop and stack the logs. I do have an oak tree down elsewhere on the property that I need to cut up into manageable pieces and transport them to the shop.
The stack is made up of cypress, cedar, pecan, and cherry, I’m looking forward to getting this wood to my bandsaw but it will take a while. The logs are anywhere from 2 ft. to 4 ft. and the stack is about 4 1/2 ft. tall.
