Big fire near my town - Update 6/24 - 23 replies I don’t know how much this kind of news gets around, but there is a huge fire near my town. It is the Humboldt Fire named after the road it started on. At this point they think it was from sparks from high voltage wires that started the blaze. But spring is coming fast here in Northern California and we took a little time off to enjoy repairing a fence and hiking in the jewel of the north state Bidwell Park.
