Veneer cutting - 7 replies Hi all, I’m facing a dilemma whether to purchase a paper cutter to cut my strips of veneer for my chessboards or to just use a straight edge and a blade. If I did go the paper cutter route which cutter, the old fashioned guillotine with curved blade or the rotary setup? |

Help, my veneer went burly on me! - 4 replies Hi there all, does anyone familiar with the procedure how to flatten out wrinkled veneer with misting water? I live in Alberta where it is extremely dry and quite a few of my flitches of veneer warps pretty bad even overnight.Maybe my wife’s steam iron would work? |
