Got a call from Woodcraft. They can’t take my order yet. Told to call back in 6 weeks. Woodcraft stated that SS is currently building inventory so they can ship adequate numbers once the date hits for distribution. Some of the information I got from Woodcraft differed from the SSp website so I called Sawstop. They were very informative and helpful. SS expects to ship at the end of May, first of June.
The base price of around $1500 is for the base model, stamped steel wings, standard aluminum fence. There is only one model with accessories that can be added. Mobile base, biesemeyer type fence, cast iron wings, out-feed table were the primary ones. Adding these will probably push the cost to over or around $2000. Here are (cut from the SS website) standard features and accessories. Note – The mobile base is not listed in the accessories. I asked the rep I talked to at SS and he verified that it was not there ….. but should be.

I am sorry to hear you have to wait for 6 more weeks. That is disheartening since I am sure you were ready to place your order yesterday. But good things come to those who are patient. I am sure that this is a wonderful saw. Besides it gives you some more time to decide on how to accessorize the saw.
Thanks for sharing.

HI
Not sure if you have seen this article on the saw from FWW – it lists all the prices and they have a video clip as well.

I would try elsewhere or call saw stop direct to see who does have it.
Good luck with it
