Here are some photos of my shop located at KT’s parent’s farm. It seems really crowded but that is because I have an old metal desk in there right now for assembling some projects. I also have the table saw pushed farther forward than usual too. Without the desk in the way I have plenty of room to either run the jointer and the table saw without moving them. Everything is on wheels so it’s not too much of a hassle. I usually use the router table out in the driveway and it just gets moved out as part of the process to get started working.
You may notice the absence of a bench. It is a work-not-in-progress… It will live behind the table saw where you see an old entertainment rack now (look for the clorox). I hope to get it started soon. I’m going to build a modified version of John White’s bench recently re-featured in Fine Woodworking magazine. I have the top cut to size and ready for
some aprons (reclaimed from an industrial strength conference room door.) I just need to build the base.

Delta Shopmaster 8” drill press (feels weird calling such a small item a ‘drill press’)
Milwaukee 18v Cordless kit (drill/driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw)
Various Hand Tools (not shown; will update when photos taken)

Thanks, Dick. I’m pretty happy with the equipment. I am extremely lucky to be able to setup there. It is sort of a drag driving 30 – 40 minutes vs. a 30 second walk out the door but I’m use to it by now. I’ve figured out 3 different ways to travel and one just so happens to take me right by Rockler so I can deal for now. Wish me luck on the house hunt this summer though.

I don’t know. This looks more like a Rockler showroom then a shop to me. Too clean, too fancy, way too much great equipment. ;-)
Just teasin ya Jeff. What a terrific assortment of machinery to work with. I’m sure that after you get your own place set up it will seem like woodworking heaven but a 30 minute drive probably isn’t that bad when you can anticipate that wide of a variety of wonderful equipment to work with. The drive probably gives you time to think about the work to be done so you can dive right in once you get there. And it also probably diciplines you to use your time wisely.

Hi Jeff,
You have a very nice workshop in which to work. It is tough having to drive that far but it does give you have excuse to visit. You have a nice set of tools to play with. I really like the outfeed table on your table saw.
