Thanks for the welcome. I’m still finding my feet with this site, but once better acquainted i’ll upload some more recent ‘shop photo’s.

Hi Tony, Glad you liked the photoset. It was typical british weather with the rain. It held of almost all the way through the build, (apart from 1 day when it rained and I had to run around with tarpualin and buckets to protect the newly laid floor), it rained only for 2 days, and one of them was during the roof laying, i got absolutely drenched!

But, it was worth it, my shed is like a little slice of paradise, just a shame I can’t be in there full time!

Your shop reminds me of mine quite a bit…overall size and all. And the weather seems to be about the same.

Thanks for the nice comments. The size of it for me is great, before I had a tiny 10×8 shed and had to work out on the patio! Because I don’t use a tablesaw and bias my work towards hand-work it’s surprising just how little space one need to work on various projects. I’ll post another fairly large project (green house) later that I managed quite well in the space.

If I could have more space, I think it would be useful to have a seperate finishing room, thats probably the most awkward thing at the moment – finding space to finish a project whilest starting another.
