I am 36 years old, married with a wonderful 14 month old son. I am a hydrologist by profession working in the environmental field. I have been working wood for about 12 years off and on. I should say, much of this work has been more carpentry oriented than fine woodworking as I have renovated one bungalow and am currently working on my largest project, a renovation of my 104 year old Victorian. I have built some furniture such as armoires, kitchen cabinets, etc. but am hopeful to finally start making fine furniture for family and friends. Also, I started turning about 2 years ago and really enjoy it though I haven't had much lathe time since I got it due to unforeseen circumstances. Anyway, I am currently building a new shop and just moved some of my equipment in and am currently working on the wiring. It is 18' x 32' with 9' ceilings and a small loft.
Best,
Stacey
