My son bought this blade 13 years ago, and in addition to all the furniture projects in the home shop he is a contractor for helping build homes. This blade is his only blade, and was used on site to cut everything for four houses. After cutting some very dense 31/2” Oak, he says it must be time for it’s FIRST sharpen, and intends for no one but Forrest to do it. It still cuts softer wood like butter.Billyup

There was a yard sale ad that said: “Lathe with tools, $40”, so I hustled right out.I found a “Junk” French or Canadian lathe that is only good for turning Spindle work, but came with about $300 worth of new Craftsman tools. The tools were an assortment of things I did not have.I converted the lathe to a “Buffing machine”, using a threaded rod that is screwed into two turned wood blocks.
