I don't consider myself a craftsman, but I love working with wood and have all my life. Whether it is building a shed or a tiny box, if involves wood I like doing it. I learned a lot from watching my father, and from trial and error. A lot of my tools are older than me as I inherited them from him.
I am also a beekeeper, and since most of the materials used in making a beehive are wood that one is a win/win too. I just became a grandfather for the first time and I have never been so happy or proud.
