Hi Nick, I’m in Fremont too. I just started on LJ. Seems to be going pretty good so far.

Where abouts are you in Fremont? I’m a couple of blocks from the Fremont BART station.

Just starting out in working wood, I also wanted to know where do you go to get wood around here? Other than the HD or Lowes.

Hey pinakBERT, nice to hear from a neighbor ! I’m just off of Thornton, so not too far from you at all.
For lumber, I usually go to Global Wood Source in Santa Clara because it is close to my work. I have tried Southern Lumber as well but they are quite expensive. Otherwise, PALS and MacBeath are the other major lumber places in the Bay Area. Haven’t tried them yet so can’t comment but I hear they have a good selection.

Salut Jean Marc. Rien en cours. J’ai 4 tiroirs a faire pour des placards dans la maison mais je n’ai pas beaucoup de temps en ce moment donc ca viendra plus tard. Plus, ma scie table n’est plus tres bien alignee donc je profite d’etre entre projets pour la regler comme il faut. Et toi ?

salut banick je vais essayer de commencer ma bibliothèque que j ai présenté au challenge. si j ai le temps parce que je dois me faire opéré de la thyroides vers la mi juin sa me laisse pas trop le temps mais je vais essaye.je te souhaite un bon week end a bientôt si tu as besoin d un conseil n hésite pas. a plus
