Workshop Map. - 3 replies I was just noticing the amount of shops shared in the north east than anywhere else. Are the people in the north east more proud of there shops than the rest of country, or are the people in the west and mid west just that shy? Lumber Jocks site is over a 1000 strong, I’m sure there is more shops in other places. Just wondering? |

Crack in veneer. - 4 replies This is my first attempt at working with veneer, and I don’t have a vacuum press yet. I clamped it between to boards and used brick to give it good pressure in the center and around the edges. It looked fine after I took it out, but a day later this crack showed up. Getting boards flat without a planner - 11 replies Hi all, I was just in my shop trying to get a bow out of a peice of reclaimed wood with my jointer, and I was wondering how do I get the top part of the bow out without a planner? I tried doing it with the jointer but the board comes out uneven. |
