I live in Montgomery Al. Contrary to what you have heard, I do where shoes and I don't chew tobacco. Altough I know a lot of people that do. I got started woodworking out of a desire to eat. I was nineteen, needing a job and my brother in law was working for a cabinet maker/archtectrual woodworker/furniture maker. We were one of the only shops this far South that did custom veneer work. I now work for my local City Maintenance Dept. in their cabinet shop, as a foreman. Although, the work is not as challenging the stress level is very low. I have a wonderful wife and two boys. One is eight and one is terribly two.
