Location: Minneapolis, MN currently deployed, Tikrit, Iraq
Website:
I'm a 34 year old first time father this year. I've been doing some wood working now for about four years and have been slowly acquiring tools for my shop, when my wifes not looking of course. Right now I'm deployed with the Army in Iraq (deployment number two). During this deployment, My wife and I decided to put our house on the market in hopes of buying a larger home in a attempt to accomomodate our growing family and my expanding shop. Presently while our house is being shown for sale, my shop which incompassed 2/3rd's of our two car garage is now being stored in a 10x16 storage unit, along with other mis. household items. Is it wrong to feel bad for your tools while they're in storage and miss them when you're 7000 miles away from them?

Delta 6'' jointer
Delta 13'' planer

Hello Les,
Welcome to LJs. I hope that you will find this to be an exciting and rewarding part of your woodworking journey.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
