Gary, thanks for the interest,but…....my shop is a total mess with me trying to complete projects for the contests. Also,we are going to be moving in the next month or so,down towards Roseburg.Hopefully I will find a place with a decent place to set up shop. Then I will post some photos. Thanks again and also for all your kind comments.Andy

Moving to be closer to the Shakespeare Festival? Let us know when you get settled and I’ll bet Debbie would love to inspect.

Douglas, yes thats right, about 2hrs north of there.

By the way Gary and Douglas I think I will go ahead and post a pic or two of the shop this weekend anyway. It will be brutally honest. Not a pretty sight, but perhaps others will be encouraged to go ahead and start creating instaed of waiting for everything to be perfect.I have never had all the tools I wanted or a very good shop, but that never stopped me.Norm Abrahms is going to shake his head when he sees these pictures. :-)

Andy,

I think that that is a great idea! The “brutally honest” pictures of your shop would be “inspirational” to some of us, because it would demonstrate that one doesn’t have to have all the tools and the perfect shop, like Norm, to do great work.

Hi Andy,

I am sorry about just now getting around to looking at your shop post. I agree with Gary and Tom about Norm’s shop. I will guarantee you that he doesn’t sweep up or move things around on the set. If we had a stage crew like he does then our shops would look like his and we all would be sponsored by delta too.

I am looking forward to seeing some pictures as well.

Yea, photo’s of the old and the new. That way we can tell if you are setting it up right. And don’t clean it up, a shop has to look like it is being used. Just keep it safe.
