Part 1: Aaaaand they're off!
My son Sam, now 2 ½, is a certified car nut. He has about 200 of them, which he can identify by model and color, and those are just the Hotwheels/Matchbox sized cars. Part 2: Are We There Yet?!
The bed is nearly complete, just a little more painting to do. This weekend the in-laws are coming to help me get it from the garage to my son’s 2nd floor bedroom. Every day he asks me, “Is my car bed ready? Are you still painting? Can I see it?” Note to self: Never again shall my wife be allowed to apply, nay, inflict paint on a project which I have built. She knows how to do it properly, but lacks the patience and thus the bed required 4 coats to get it evened out. I believe she must ...
Part 3: Crossing the Finish Line
The bed is at last complete and assembled in the bedroom. My son was out of town with his mother this weekend so my in-laws come over to help me move it up to his room.
