Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

How goes? I am in central Utah. We spent the last two summers logging in Duck Creek, about 30 miles from Briah Head Ski Resort.

I see you carve with a chainsaw, I need to learn.

How long you lived in Utah? You from WA?

Things are good. A little drier and less wood than the Seattle area. ;(

I’ve lived up in Spanish Fork and West Jordan for a number of years and got relocated to WA then returned to Utah last fall further south in Cedar City. I’m heading up to Park City in July for a commission. Chainsaw’ing a 12’ stump with some bearcubs climbing for a beehive. I’m always looking for wood material and maybe we can connect at some time? I can give you some pointers using the saw if you like.

I love the Duck Creek area because of the trees and COOL breezes! If you need any help cutting let me know. I can swing a saw or maybe just enjoy the show. Thanks for the response.
