I finally finished my aprons as far as the scrollwork goes. It took me 2 weeks to cut out the design on the aprons due to my back. A few minutes at a time. I did something different, taking the Green and Green attraction to oriental themes, I took them literally in my design. Time consuming on that Dremel. Time I really did’nt have, so now I’m pressed on the rest of the poject. However, I still think I can pull it off. I am making a home made coping sled to cut all my tenons. Then I’ll put this baby together, for a dry fit. I’m still having trouble posting pictures. I’ll go back through Martin’s directions, which are very clear, it may be my computer, it’s getting old, so sometimes it does what it wants. I’ve got pics loaded on photobuckets and shutterfly so between the two I should be able to figure out something. My son, is ahead of the accounting dept. at Jackson Nationsl Life and they send him all over the country to fix computer problems, so I have resources available, so it’s just a matter of getting his time to come here to do it. This project has taxed my ability’s, as far as following specific plans. I have’nt done that since I used to build houses back in the 70’s. The chairs and other things I’ve made just come off the top of my head as I go along. I ought to post some of the houses and other things I’ve either built or helped build. I worked for three different construction companies, doing residential and commercial construction. A lot different then building an end table. I got a lot of complements on the scissor jack router raiser, remember folks I just posted the idea, I did’nt invent it. Actually I just saw a diagrahm for another model using some waterpipe and part of a pipe clamp. If I can refind the article I’ll post it. Good luck to all on their table projects. jockmike2

Hi Mike;
I look forward to seeing those oriental theme designs and how you have included them into the Greene and Greene.

GODSPEED,
Frank

Same here, Mike. I wouldn’t mind seeing a few of those houses either…

Mike, I hope your back gets better, soon. You had me bug eyed looking for those pictures that you were unable to post. I know how nerve racking it can be when you try and it doesn’t work. I look forward to seeing your handiwork.
