I’m so tired of the ice, snow, and cold I could barf. For one thing it keeps me in one little part of my garage, which I made my shop so it would’nt be so hard to heat. But when it warm up I use the whole garage. When it thaws I’ll be able to get at the wood I got last summer from an old guy I know that gave me a bunch of wood all cut up and stacked. Great guy. He gave me all the walnut, red and white oak I wanted, hickory, a little cherry, elm and some iron wood. It’s all covered, but frooze solid.
My big problem is my garage. I bought about 1500 bd. ft. of red and white and good white, hard maple in different thicknesses last spring at a lumber mill and dried it myself and thats all in the garage, along with about 700 bd. ft. of 1×6 TxG cedar I’ve got to find a use for. So I want to try making something other than turnings. Maybe cabinets or bookcases, something like that. We have to finish our patio and I know my wife wants some patio furniture and planters made from the cedar. But the other problem I have are the machines i’ve aquired as I’ve upgraded my machines. So I have like 2 lathes, 2 scrowll saws, 2 band saws, a 17 ft canoe, an extra kitchen table and chair set, a quad, an extra table saw, and a lot of other junk I’ve been trying to sell by hand bill. I’m gonna try the news papers next and ebay as a last resort, i’ve been hearing bad things about ebay lately, so I’m leary about going that way. I just hope the machines hold up to all the machineing I’ve got to do on the wood before I can use it. I’ll probably give out before they do. Any way the sun will feel mighty good. Even with the sceeters. God Bless All jockmike

After yesterday I thought Spring was in the air. But this morning my wife said the temp was 19 deg. I asked her if she was looking at it upside down and that it was really 61 deg.
No luck.
But good luck on your cleaning up so you can create.

We don’t usually get spring until the end of April here. Then we get about 6 months of cool weather. LOL Also you can throw In a few Skeeters.

What if the buyer doesn’t like stained glass windows. And they want you to put in plain glass.

Mike ol’ buddy, I could help you with some of that lumber, get it out of your way. LOL. I have some of the same trouble, turning my lumber into usable boards takes up a lot of space.
It’s been getting into the 70’s and almost 80 lately. We had a couple of light freezes the last couple of mornings, but it is going to warm up. The trees are budding, my flowers are blooming and before long it will be time to start cutting grass.
