I have to say I’d do it all over again in a second. I ain’t sure about her. .She has been my biggest woodworking fan, and encouraged me constantly to keep at it and has allowed me to buy more tools than I need, and now she’s trying to keep me out of the shop because I keep hurting myself. I’m having a problem with my balance and have taken to using a cane full time, and have had more than my fair share of falls and accidents in the shop the last 3 years. Last Thursday I put 7 stitches in my left hand when my tool slipped off the end of my tool rest and hit the back of my left hand on the spinning chuck at about 3k RPMs. OUCH!!! Any way it’s been a long road, ups and downs, but when we got married it was for better or for worse. I’ve been the worse, I’m afraid. Anyway here’s a couple pics of before and after…....Anyway she has always been a part of my woodworking!! Either building houses or making a bowl, she has always been URGING ME TO GO FORWARD and I LOVE HER DEARLY.!!!

As I always say to my wife, “I don’t deserve you”. She then replies, “YES YOU DO”!
;0) Have a great anniversary. I just did 24 with Betty on 04/04!

You look just as proud standing next to her now as you did then! Of course she looks a little shorter now … illusion or that hairdo ? :) Congrats!

Mike,

You used to clean up pretty good in the early days Mike! She still does.

All aside, the very best wishes to both of you and having been with both of you a couple times, I can tell the magic is still there.

Steve.

Mike,

Happy Anniversary to the both of you!! Mike, you be careful out in the shop…. It is no fun to get hurt but I know too that once you get the smell of wood dust in your nostrils that there is no place like the shop!!

I wish you many more years together!
