Two things today, one: I used my gripper rip off and it works fine, 2: had a visitor

First of all David (Patron) I used the Woodline USA adjustable push block and as far as I’m concerned it’s worth the 16.00 bucks. I had to take it apart and put some pastewax on it to make it slide better but once I did that it worked fine.
Next I had a fellow jock stop by yesterday, David Craig, and he gave me some ideas on CLEANING my shop and ORGANIZING it, don’t know where he got the idea it needed that. Anyway, in return I taught him all I knew about sharpening lathe tools and working on the Lathe. Only took a half hour or so. I took some pic’s but I’ll be an SOB if I can get them loaded on here from either my Flikr account or my Photobucket acct. I tried most of the day. He must of had fun cause he said he’s coming back tomorrow. www.flickr.com/photos/37890163@N05/

Mike . . . I popped over to your flickr page to look at the picks and I stumbled across your missing digit. Gave me the willies.

Glad the gripper is working for you.

Oh . . . that’s also one heck of a trout . . . 24lbs.

Cheers

Ya Zuki that was a lot of fun. Ya know any other day there would have been a hundred boats on the lake, not that day, we didn’t have a soul to brag about it to.

Mike’s a good patient guy, all necessary prerequisites for me to be able to work around someone. I get too jittery around the ornery woodworkers.

And, for the record, I hold old farts and Alaskan Hillbillies in high regard. The world needs more of them :)

And Mike, I became slightly suspicious over the need for reorganzation when I discovered that I was standing 7 feet tall in your shop, and I am only a 6 foot tall man :)

See you later today …

David
