Had a great time today with Rustic Rick his wife Nancy, Billie J. and his wife Lou Ann, SteveMI, and Myself and my lovely wife Kris. I got a cheaper version of the Gripper from Woodline USA, at $16.00, and a router for my Dremel. Oh man they had some wood to die for, we just had no way to get it home. I’ll have to let the other guys tell you what they got cause I wasn’t paying to much attention. Needless to say I couldn’t find any Lathe tools to speak off. Or any thing else in my price range (with the wife along). Still had a great time, wish I would have taken the camera, we went back to Steve’s house for some gorme’ chili dogs and he showed us his CNC system which is very cool along with the rest of his cool shop stuff. Really liked his jigs and other shop helpers he’s made. We talked about getting back together real soon. Sure hope we do, what a great bunch of ladies and gentlemen.

Just got home as well I scored an upgrade to the signcrafter pro set that I have for $28.00, a set of card scrapers for $13.00 and a stay put dust collection kit with a 3 foot hose. It connects to the shopvac. The upgrade kit is on order should have it mid march.

Yah it was a nice show I also saw some wood to die for. Some of the Bubinga slabs were awesome.
I didn’t get anything but I did see some nice demo’s of a couple things that are on my wish list. Too bad I didn’t see any of you there it would of been nice to meet you.

Henry

PS yes please do a review of that gripper from woodline.

I went to their website and they don’t have a pic available, I’ll have to wait till it gets lighter and I’ll take a picture of it and post it. Works pretty cool. Should save some of my digits, I should thank Billy J. he’s the one that found it for me. B J I’ll also post those cyclones I’ve made. Too dark yet. Couldn’t sleep. Hey alaskan we were wearing our LJ shirts and Hats how could you miss us, and we’re all pretty.
