As it were. SteveMI. Stopped by to say hi today much to my surprise and pleasure. We talked like old friends for 2 hours before he had to hit the road. He had stopped back at Raven Farm to do some more shopping, without me, of course. He promised next time to include me. We had a great time and he got to see my messy shop first hand. Will I take the messy shop record? Who knows. We did talk about another Michigan get together maybe in January or Febuary. What do the rest of you Michiganians think? Just a thought, I know he said he thought he knew someone that might be able to get us a Convention Hall or something similar. Think it over!!!

We sure will Kyle, be glad to see you again. Mario, we’d love to have you there. Steve,MI. is the one the one that said he had an inside track on an inside area to meet. Now I just read a lot of boys down by Detroit looking for wood, why can’t we get you guys to come to one of these gigs. We have a barrel of fun and it would be great to get to know you fellas too. The fellas from the Detroit area, not to put any pressure on you but you did have your cities on your posts were, Pete 79, Mark from Windsor, close enough, Ron, from Warren, and of course our old pal Russel, who would have been at the last one had he not had prior commitments. I know there are a bunch of people from Michigan and I also know you would have had a blast at the last get together. How about Oh, about 300.00 dollars worth of wenge veneer for nothing. Or just meeting a great bunch of people that can tell you the cheapest places to buy lumber in Michigan. Just a few of the tidbits. Jockmike2 don’t believe me, come and see.

We did Karson, and we want others to join us. Just don’t know what to do to get them to come. I hope you do make it Billp, if we can get one together.

I’m sorry I missed this get together, but I’m definitely interested in another sometime after the new year.

Mike,

Asking another LJ to rate another shop as messy is like the other two famous questions that you can’t answer; Isn’t my baby the cutest you have ever seen? and Does this make me look heavy?

Your shop was just fine Mike.

Steve.

Count me in too. It would be great to have hot dogs in Feb!

I know it’s not really what this thread is about but if any of you are up for a weekend or day trip to Chicago we are having a meetup at the Chicago Woodworking Show. Free admission to the show is included.

You can check out this thread for more information.

And I could probably even house some of you I would just have to check with the wife to be sure.
