I’ve done business with this guy and he’s a standup guy. He also has quite an inventory, there are not many woodworkers in this area. Still in business anyway. I get my winter wood from him and a lot of my burls that I made clocks last winter out of, and my nephews antler mount. All came from junk wood I gleened from his junk pile.

At those prices, I am almost tempted to order a few thousand board feet and pay the shipping costs, I am sure I would save a shed load of money.

It’s worth it all right, I’ve seen the wood. It looks very very good. Heck at that price it could be so so and you’d still come out ahead. Now he told me he’s going out of business, I believe him, he’s got lumber everywhere. I don’t know what he’s going to do with it all. Maybe I can sneak in late and make a killing, yea and monkeys might fly outta my butt.

I’d like some nice maple. He lives in Bath Rick, sorry for the late answers. He will ship, I’m pretty sure. I’d also like to get some nice walnut, I’m getting low. I’m going over to look at his turning blanks, see if he has some burl or other goodies. ‘Rick Bath is in between Laingsburg and Lansing, He’s only about 5 miles from me South.
