Along with starting a new stage of my life I am also learning the world of woodturning. I recently setup my workshop and I'm taking baby steps to trying new projects. Everything about woodworking is new to me so I'll probably be asking lots of questions of all of you. I love to hear suggestions, comments and all kinds of tips. So when I post something please help me out, it is always welcomed.

hi everyone. thanks for the warm welcome. i’m a newbie to woodworking. at this point in time i am just doing the woodturning (spinny thing) type of projects. i’ve moved into a new place and converted an extra bedroom into my workshop. to date i have made lots of pens, a few bottle stoppers, and a bowl. i am in the process of learning how to sharpen my chisels. a friend of mine introduced me to this forum and i think i’ll really like being part of the ‘family’. thanks again for welcoming me.
