Lectern! Sold! x2!
I just sold two of these to the same woman. She wants one for her classroom and one for her husband’s job. Luckily this woman is local, so I won’t have to ship the lecterns to her.

Husband, father, son, pushin' 50 now and still goin' strong. Woodworker, teacher, rock musician, artist. RPG player (the real kind, not the digital crap), football fan, hockey fan. Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Mage: The Awakening, Werewolf: The Forsaken, Promethean: The Created, The House. Rush, The Beatles, Mushroomhead, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Mudvayne, Yes, Split Enz, Cheap Trick, The Who, Kiss, Aerosmith, Queensryche, Willie Nelson, Pantera, Lamb of God. And, of course, KTCK SportsRadio 1310 AM, The Ticket, out of D/FW, the best radio station on this planet.
Yeah, that was pretty much just a list but it was the best way to get everything in here.
I have built my shop within the past two years. Woodworking is my primary activity these days, though I tie dye a few T-Shirts and tweek a few digital images as well. I love designing new candle holders and bookcases, bookends and other interesting items people can actually use around the house, and building new jigs to help out in the shop. I'm really only interested in things that are useful in some way.
Namasté,
Jay Neale III

Here you can see two of my woodworking projects in my wife’s classroom. I built the Lectern and the In-Box out of birch plywood with no edge banding. She teaches 7th graders and it was decided to just use the ply, give it a small amount of style i...

Hello Jn3Woodworks,
Let me welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find being a member of this group to be both a rewarding and an inspirational part of your woodworking adventure.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Just so you guys know, I’m not ducking out of LJ. However, my 98-year-old grandmother is in the hospital and that’s taking up most of my time. I haven’t even finished mowing my lawn.
