Beeswax - from bee to tree
I am relatively new to woodworking so I have recently had cause to read several articles on wood finishing. When it comes to beeswax a lot of authors suggest that there is little point in making it yourself. This seems odd to me as don’t we all enjoy making things ourselves, otherwise we would simply buy our furniture ready made from the nearest department store. As well as self-satisfaction, I also think there is another reason to do things ourselves and that is when we do we usually learn a thing or two. So I had a go at making beeswax.
