I just recently stumbled upon Lumberjocks and it’s been something that I’ve been looking to join for a while.
I’ve been doing a bit of woodworking here and there on projects for about two years now.
I started out just looking for something to keep my mind off some very stressful events that were going on and have always found that using my creative side through various outlets helped out, so I thought I may as well try building some stuff.
I started out with a couple small projects that didn’t necessarily work out the way I envisioned, but not too bad none the less. My first project was a garden box for my fiancee as well as a three hook wall mounted coat rack that was my first ever shot at the router I got on sale. : )
Since then, I think I’ve come along and look forward to sharing my projects with everyone here.
Cheers!
John

John, we are glad to have you on-board. It is always enjoyable to be able to see other woodworkers projects and commentaries. I am looking forward to seeing some of yours as well.
I have to warn you though involvement with this group will cut into your available shop time. At times, at least for a number of us, it is hard to break away from here to make some sawdust! :)
