Sprunger drill press - 6 replies
Anyone have any experience with Sprunger machinery? There is a floor drill press model NDP 15 for sale near me for $75. It has been on Craigslist for a month and the seller still has it. The price seems reasonable for an early 70’s drill press. I’m not sure if it hasn’t sold because of the brand or if the market for a floor dri...

I have the opportunity to purchase this drill press locally from Craigslist for $50. Anyone familiar with this drill press and is it worth the money? Is there anything I should look for when I check it out? For $50 I am thinking its a pretty good deal. I am currently using a bench top Walker Turner from the 30’s that I found in my grandmot...

Reliant dust collector - 3 replies
I have a opportunity to purchase a reliant dust collection system for $50. I believe it is a 1 hp model nn720. I currently use a old Dayton system that is basically a shop vac. Rockwell 37-600 jointer - 3 replies
I found this jointer that runs on Craigslist. It comes with extra knifes and can get it delivered for $50 but I never seen a fence tilted like that. Is that a normal adjustment or is the fence bent or something? This will be my first jointer so I’m a newbie to how the fence tilts.

Radial arm saw in the workshop - 18 replies
I came across an older craftsman radial arm saw on Craigslist. The $30.00 price has me thinking maybe I should pick it up. I have a table saw and a non-sliding miter saw so I’m not sure if I really need the radial saw. Does anyone own all three and if so do you still use the radial saw? Also is this saw worth the $30?

Craftsman 113.298240 restoration - 9 replies
The Craftsman saw I am getting up and running again has sticky trunnions gears. I have some Johnson wax that I will be using on the surface of the saw once I finish sanding it. I have heard that you can use the Johnson wax on the trunnion gears as well. Has anyone done this? Does it work well? Does it also help with cleaning up the the area?
