I am currently restoring a Sprunger floor drill press but I am always on the lookout on Craigslist for a good deal to either add a new item to my shop or maybe fix something up and turn it around. I have been thinking about adding a Radial Arm Saw to my shop for some time now. After some research I figured if I was going to get one it would be a older Dewalt since most guys rave about them online.
Yesterday I happened to look at Craigslist at the right time because I came across this beauty 39 minutes after it was posted. The owner was giving it away for FREE. He told me that he got it a couple years ago and broke it all down, painted it and did the bearings. It also has a nice table that seams to be a Mr.Sawdust design. He said after getting a really nice table saw for x-mas the radial saw never got used and he needed the space. He was a super nice guy and I couldn’t thank him enough for the sweet deal.

FREE????????? Well… suck. I hope to own a nice Radial Arm Saw someday. There is something about them that is so much cooler than a compound miter saw

Other than the color—great score!

The guy was really nice. He knew he was giving me a great deal. He just really needed the space and was glad to give it someone that would appreciate it.
As for the color I can live it. I can always change it someday. As it is now it really stands out in the shop and make a statement.
