I have two hobbies: Computers and woodworking. I recently discovered "The wood whisperer" and through his site found this one. Really had no idea that there is so many wood workers out there.
I built my garage shop about 10 yrs ago and now am in the middle of redoing it. I spend most of my days off down in the garage building moble units for my larger tools.
I enjoy all of the pictures and video's I've seen and might (someday) add a few here myself.
I am a retail manager for Tuesday Morning Inc. Have been in retail most of my life. The wood shop gets me away from all the reality and stress of the work place and hope to (maybe) someday when I retire use the wood working skills to suppliment the SS check. LOL.
Anyway, that's alittle about me. Have a great day.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, The information is priceless and The people are supportive. Only problem is, The sight can be addictive. Your shop plan looks great. I am in the process of putting in a new 14 X 21 shop. If you care to look I have a sketch of it on my sight. We will have to keep in touch with each other on our progress.

God Bless
tom

There are actually two pictures in the redoing workshop gallery, but for some reason it only shows that there is one…I guess I will figure all this out as time passes. Once I get my shop (As it stands now) cleaned up alittle I will take some pictures and share.
Thanks
Jim

Welcome to LJ!

I just got your message on my page, I am normally more active on LJ but I am neck deep in an alligator right now. I hope to get more time to spend on LJ in a few weeks when I get some things cleared up.

This is such a great site and I consider the LJ group as friends and family, they are friendly and genuine.
That is something that I value highly.

I think you will enjoy participating in the site. I look forward to your postings and projects.
