Hope everyone is doing well and in good health. So years ago when I was in the wood working field I mainly did refinishing for a company where we used sand sealer and nitrocellulose laq out of a pressure pot system. This was about 15 years ago. Now I’ve been reading with the advances in things that a gravity fed gun and wb work well enough without the expensive shop setup. So does anyone have any experience with this and if so what sprayable poly is out there that would work well?

I have had real good luck with General Finishes polyacrylic, not so much with the minwax.

I think at this time General Finishes is the way to go. Both there Polyacrylic and there Endro are very good. These finishes are not cheap. If you check with Charles Neil he has a lot of tips on using water base finishes. It has a lot to do with the needle and going down to about a 1.5 to get the spray smooth. Have Fun
