Marysville , Oh 43040
United States

The shop is 32’ X 32’ or 1000 sq-ft. 9 foot celings, 200A service, This is my retirement business. I plan on retiring sometime in the next 10 to 15 years (I’m 45) currently I hone my skills and take on the occasional commissioned piece. I use two table saws; the hybrid cabinet saw always has a dado blade on it. And the 10” jet cabinet saw is the workhorse. Two router tables one always has a 3/8” straight bit to cut out mortises. Between the dedicated dado table saw and the dedicated router table I can knock out mortise and tennon joints real quick. Plus having two router tables makes it great when you have a bunch on cope and sash to cut. The rest of the shop is what you would expect in a shop that makes custom traditional furniture. Jim

Jim, this is a really nice looking shop that you have to work in. With a 1000 sq ft of floor space you have ample room to move around in there and you have a pretty efficient set-up as well. You also have a nice selection of tools to play with. Like Brad, I especially like the jointer. That one is a monster! I also am envious of the luxury that you have in being able to put two table saws in your shop and keep one of them dedicated for dado work. I have always thought that is exactly what I would do if I had more space.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed visiting your shop.
