no previous part Part 1 of Greene and Greene Crib series no next part

First assembly of a Greene and Greene style crib for my daughter. Still experimenting with mechanisms for an adjustable height mattress support. I’m considering a scissor mechanism but I’m concerned that will be too springy.

Great looking crib—look forward to seeing it completed.

Very nice! jimbarstow, we sell a lot of the scissor hardware. I have never heard any complaints about the “springy” that you are talking about but another alternative is using the brackets that are attached into inserts that already have the height adjustments on them. If you need any help, Please contact me after you have the crib finished so I can get permission to display an image on our site. Thanks.

Nice grib. I like Greene & Greene style. Some time ago I wanted to make greene & greene style grib to my grandson, but I had not time . Later I made another gift to my grandson- rocking horse . If my daughters will to give birth to children ( I hope for this) I will make the same as your grib. Thank you for sharing.
