Here is my shop, it’s a basement off the end of our garage. The window opens to a foxhole so I don’t get light but I get fresh air. It is the first dedicated place to work that I have had. The size is about 18×15 feet. Everything is on locking wheels to enable moving the machines around to use them. I have a DeWalt bandsaw, a Bosch table saw, Bosch router with multiple bases and a homemade router table, 2 homemade carving stands, a workbench I made 15 years ago and was the one item (besides learning to sharpen) that improved my woodworking the most. The equipment is 220V (European standard) and made for construction sites. Our apartment is limited to 3kWs of power (as is normal in Italy) meaning the washer and dryer cannot run together without dropping the circuit breaker so I had to buy machines that consume under 2kWs power. I just purchased a new lathe (old chinese one kicked over after only 3 years) , a Magma with 7” over the bed, I love it. I also finally purchased a real dust collector that I can connect to all of the machines.
