Location: Marostica Italy
Website:

I am from Toledo Ohio but I have been living and working in Europe for the last 20 some years. I am married to an Italian and live in the small but incredibly beautiful medieval town of Marostica in northern Italy.

My first projects were 3 boats when I lived on a lake in Austria, then I became addicted and began making as much out of wood as I could. I am mostly self taught though I have taken 2 carving classes in the last 5 years from a carving school in Austria. I make furniture, carve a lot and create small stuff for the home. Three years ago I purchased my first lathe and I now turn a lot. I am improving with every project and the forums have helped my learning a lot as well as inspire and push the quality of my projects to a higher level.

Thank you Jim and Surfin! I really like the site, after trolling for a few weeks I find the comments of people really nice and the projects are excellent. There is a range of different types of projects that is impressive. Thanks again and I look forward to being a part of your community,
cheers,
Jim
