Jeremy's New Toys #1: I Love my wife!

So, I got some money back from Uncle Sam and my wife says to get some tools!!!

I tell my wife that she best not be messing with me about tools, because that is ONE thing that should NOT be messed with. She tells me to get what I want, just be sure that I can use it. Well as you know, we can all use everything we buy!

So, for once in my marriage (16 years now) I got to pick some tools and for once, I could NOT think of an actual TOOL that I needed, so I went for ACCESSORIES!!!! O.K. guys, here is my dream wish come true list:

I have an OLD Rockwell table saw. Not much to look at, older than dirt, but I put a 3 HP motor on it a couple years ago and it runs like a dream. The trunnions are tight and smooth acting and this thing is heavy as a tank, but the fence system was showing age and I was thinking about getting a new saw, buttttttt…. how about a new fence. 1st on my list:

Now, one thing that I already owned was an old sears metal router table, you know, the old ones that are about a foot high with screw holes to mount your router. Well, again, that is showing age and since I now have this great fence on it’s way I figured it was about time to get a router, router lift, and extension table to put on the Incra fence. Now, I want a way to really use this router so let’s shell out a few more bucks and get the:

Oh yeah, I also got a neck extension for my Grizzly band saw so I can re-saw up to 12”. So that is cool also.

After ordering everything, I found out that the Powerlift in on backorder and will not be shipped until the 28th. Oh the AGONY!!!
