Ha I wish, I hope we sell enough to cover development costs + some profit. If we do you can bet we’ll be doing some more woodworking centered applications in the future.

So this is very interesting. First congrats to you! Seems like a great program. Once you have made the panels can you click and drag them over to see what the board will look like? Also does it come with some patterns preloaded? Really seems like a great thing you have shared with us.

Jeremy: Is the program mac compatible or just windows based?

I’d love to be able to have some of those premade panels that were in your video. Those should be included with the purchase!

Very simple program. You could do something almost identical in powerpoint with minimal effort. But could be useful to someone looking for software that serves one purpose and does an okay job of it.

@ken
Once you’ve created the panels, you can add slices in any order from any of the panels, to create the pattern you want. You can also flip the slices and move them around, watching the video can give an idea on how a 2 panel cutting board is made. If you watch the beta demo I showed how the original woodwhisperer cutting board was made, then I show how to make some changes.

You’ve never seen me on the computer. Simple is good.
And his offering to share his talent with guys less computer savy then me is nice.
I’m not too much in to cutting boards personally, but his concept and his software are pretty cool.
I like the way you can see what it’ll look like before you start cutting & gluing.
Thanks Jeremy.

I played around with this for a while this morning…nice work, Jeremy. Well worth the $5.

Thanks for posting the templates, too! I’d like to apologize in advance for the 16 cutting board projects I’ll have to post!!!!

Jeremy, after purchasing your program, and trying to use it, when I click on the build button, it goes to the save screen, after putting in the name to save, then click on save, it comes up witha screen that says the program has stopped working, what is wrong please.
thanks

Hi Smitty,
You most likely haven’t added any slices to the cutting board yet .. I’m going to get an update out that fixes this problem for you.
