I have become the proud owner of a new Rockwell Bandsaw that used to be owned by my father-in law. He passed a few years back and the family refused to touch his workshop for a number of years. But time has come to take on the task, however, the years have not been kind to all that idle metal. Like a lot of turners, I have always been in search of a way to get my tools sharper. I have been looking at CBN wheels for quite some time, but the cost was prohibitive. A clumsy shop accident that resulted in a chipped friable wheel on my slow-speed grinder was the push I needed to do something.
