Started learning how to create with wood when I was in 7th grade (that was in '74/'75) so I have been piddling a bit since then. Have enjoyed a military career in the US Air Force and was privileged to fly and fight for our nation in many locations around the globe.

Enjoy all things wrt woodworking, from small turnings, furniture repair (which has come in helpful after the many moves) and even large items such as desks and bookshelves.

Haven't done much with inlay or carving - may try some of that soon.

God Bless you as you turn lumber into sawdust!

Hello Jez,

Thanks for the kind words all – look forward to posting a few pictures of some projects soon. My next planned work is a shadow box for military retirement (which got me to this site in the first place).

I’m thinking of using mesquite and oak – if I don’t burn up all my blades and bits in the process!
