I did a few wood working projects in high school, but after that I never really had access to any tools. I worked summers with a painter and eventually started my own business in college. Eventually I was able to get a few tools here and there.
Some of my favorite tools to work with are the band saw and router.
My "work shop" right now isn't quite what I would like it to be, but it allows for some projects that aren't too large.
