i'm 30 years old i do 2 things i love to do i am a full time firefighter and a carpenter. i try to follow the foot steps of my papa he past away in 1993 he was a carpenter and a firefighter for 24 years before he past away. i guess you could say that i was his little pest i was always loseing his tools but i loved to be in his shop with him. well i guess it is pay back now my youngest son 3yrs.old is like me i wouldn't call him a pest but i can never find my hammer or tape measure i have to ask him where he had it last. i tried to give him his own but he still want mine.well my shop is in my garage thanks goodness my wife don't care about parking her car in the garage or i wouldn't have a shop. i have had a trim work buisiness with me and another firefighter i work with for the past 7 yrs. business has been great but as of late it has been SLOW. so i converted my garage into a shop to use my skills to make things to try to sell them to make a little money to make ends meet.the name of my business is jems which stands for my family julie(wife),eric(me),mason(oldest son),sam(youngest son)

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
