I was working in my shop yesterday when I heard the rumble of a big truck rolling up the driveway – could it be? My heart started racing, my mind wondering about all the possibilities – could it be the arrival of the coveted Lumberjocks pen trade box? Yes!!!! to my wondering eyes the UPS truck had arrived and it does take two hands to handle a whopper. Here is a shot of the box hot of the truck and waiting to be opened. This box made a long hard trip and actually has a small hole in it, but not to worry nothing escaped.

I unloaded all the goodies and was stunned, amazed and in awe at all the great material that various Lumberjocks had passed along.

This workbench is 5 feet long and 3 feet wide and the contents of the box loaded it up.

In case you are wondering what was in the box.
17 various pen kits

1 bag of ammo shells
4 pieces of antler
126 wooden pen blanks

2 wine stoppers
2 wine stopper blanks
2 pieces of Trex
3 pieces of corian

I counted 39 different species of wood blanks that I could identify and few that were mystery blanks. Going to head back to the shop today and do some swapping – more photos to come. A new box will be found and the entire pen trade box will make it’s final trip back to Tim in Woodstock, GA. Great job to Tim for organizing the third round of the Pen Trade. Thanks to all the Lumberjocks for their contributions to the collection of goodies.

Nice looking selection of woods. And a big box for all of the goodies.

Very cool Jeff! What a great selection here… I’ve found myself busy and haven’t turned anything in a while but it looks like I need to dust off the lathe.
I’m excited!
Thanks to everyone for joining in! ;-)
