I have managed to find the time to do several demonstrations for wood turning clubs this year. This is a demonstration that I did this week for the Tennessee Association of Woodturners in Nashville, TN. I demonstrated the Monster Hollowing Rig on an oriental box hollow form.

Everyone enjoyed the demo and I had a good time doing it.

Great demo Jeff, the turning look great. Wish I had that One Way lathe sitting in my shop.

Hey Jeff – I missed the meeting this month (ended up working late and wouldn’t have made it down to Brentwood in time). Do the videos of the demonstrations get posted anywhere? I haven’t done any hollow forms yet and was looking forward to this one.

Do you have them come to your place? I can’t imagine hauling that big lathe someplace for a demo. Nice looking work though.

I’d like to see a demo like that one of these days myself.

I used the lathe that belonged to the club to do the demo. They own several lathes and have access to a large meeting place.
